A Honda Odyssey key fob battery is a CR2032 on the smart keys used on the current generation from 2018 and on earlier EX and Touring vans that already had proximity entry. The fob is busy. Sliding doors, a power tailgate, and sometimes remote start are all buttons. They share one coin cell. A van that still starts with a turned key may have the older, smaller remote instead.

The 2018 redesign is the shell most Odyssey owners are holding. It is a smart fob with an emergency key and a coin notch. Earlier 2011–2017 EX and Touring smart fobs also tend to be CR2032 and are a different shape. Do not follow a 2018 video if your van is older and the plastic does not match.
Sliding-door buttons are why people think the Odyssey needs a special battery. It does not. The doors are heavy. The transmitter is not. A tired cell shows up as doors that will not open from across the school loop, while the van still starts if you hold the fob on the button.
Minivans collect spare fobs in the cabin because parents are afraid of locking a fob inside. A spare left in the van stays awake. Store the spare in the house.
If the fob still misbehaves
If one sliding-door button dies after a battery change and the locks still work, reseat the rubber mat. If nothing transmits, flip the CR2032. You do not program an Odyssey fob just because you changed the cell.
